United Way of the Coalfield Announces Community Investment Grants for 2021-2022
United Way of the Coalfield (UWC) is accepting applications for 2021-22 Community Investment Grants. Special consideration is being given to first-time applicants. Agencies must be 501(c)(3) certified and service Hopkins and/or Muhlenberg counties.
UWC is working to “Move the Needle” and make lasting positive change with donated dollars. We are working to prioritize the key challenges within the community; the target population is low-income residents in Hopkins and Muhlenberg counties. Grant applications must address one or more of the following areas: Health, Education and Financial Stability.
The grant process is extremely competitive, and applicants are encouraged to make requests for critical program service needs. Programs that are awarded a one-year community investment grant will receive an annual amount over a funding period beginning July 1, 2021-June 30, 2022.
Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. (CST). No allocation applications will be considered if submitted after deadline. There will be no appeal process for late applications. Applications must be emailed to executive.director@unitedwayofthecoalfield.org.
The Allocation Training informational session PowerPoint Presentation is available. This session will provide guidance to agencies completing applications.
